HOW WE DO IT
We strive to alter the views toward individuals who suffer from substance use disorders which leads to the stigma, prejudice, and shame that prevents many of the individuals and their families from seeking treatment.
We offer a variety of free educational workshops that focus on the affects of substance use disorders on individuals, families and their communities.
We work to dispel myths that lead to discrimination and resistance toward developing family style recovery residences in the residential communities.
We have opened our first recovery residence operated under the standards of the Stepping Stones Certification and compliance manual.
Southwest Bucks County, Souderton, PA 18970
This is our first recovery residence specifically designed for residents with substance use and coexisting disorders. The structure of the program is designed to house 12 men for a minimum of 6 months. The residents take personal responsibility to pay their rent which provides food and job placement assistance. Stepping Stones provides scholarship opportunities for up to two weeks.
When I met the founder of Stepping Stones, he was on a tour to connect Community Recovery Organizations. Little did I know how benevolent his vision would become.

Everyone who is involved with Stepping Stones Recovery Foundation internally or from outside the organization, is a volunteer dedicated to serving our mission and vision.
